The successful candidate will quickly develop a working knowledge of the day-to-day operations and company activities while providing excellence in customer service.&nbsp;</p><h2><strong>Work Environment</strong></h2><p>This position follows a 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule with 12-hour shifts. The Saddle Hills Landfill is located 44 km east of Dawson Creek, BC, 21 km east of the BC/Alberta border, and 67 km west of Rycroft, AB</p><h2><strong>A Day in The Life</strong></h2><ul><li>Demonstrating ownership of group vision and culture</li><li>Providing knowledgeable and courteous customer service to all clients and co-workers</li><li>Maintaining professional office appearance and ensuring adequate inventory supplies</li><li>Assisting with any template/document generation that may be required from Operations</li><li>Assisting the marketers, as required</li><li>Filing, scanning, handling incoming/outgoing mail, updating phone and contact lists</li><li>Assisting the Lead Administrator with meeting all facility month end timelines and facility sign off</li><li>Assisting the Lead Administrator with safety tracking</li><li>Fulfilling any other administrative functions, as required</li><li>Landfill approvals</li><li>Working knowledge of weigh scale</li><li>Daily landfill tracking</li><li>Daily Volume balance</li><li>Responsible for daily ticket entry and troubleshooting problem tickets</li><li>Assisting the Lead Administrator with the administration and maintenance of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable</li><li>Conducting general office administration</li></ul><h2><strong>Skills, Experience &amp; Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Grade 12/GED</li><li>Administration or Accounting Certificate/Diploma would be considered an asset</li><li>Minimum 2 years administrative/accounting experience</li><li>Good time management and organization skills and ability to work effectively under pressure, meet demanding deadlines, &amp; multi-task</li><li>Ability to handle multiple changing priorities</li><li>Solid ability and experience working in a team-based environment</li><li>Reliable with strong work ethic</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills</li></ul><h2><strong>What's in it for you</strong></h2><p>At SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
