We are proud to operate two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, one in Canada and one in Oman, where we leverage the latest technology to deliver high-performance products to clients worldwide. &nbsp;The Opportunity:Our Field Services team at Lifting Solutions Inc. is presently recruiting a candidate to work as a Rod Transport + Repair Unit Operator (RTR). Excellent training will be provided. Crucial to success in this role is having a valid class 3 or class 1 operators driving license in good standing for operating our 5-ton truck. While prior oil and gas experience is considered a definite asset. We will also train the right candidate.Your Responsibilities:In alignment with the Lifting Solutions culture, mission, vision and values, you will be responsible to:Rod Transport + Repair Unit Operator (RTR) duties:<ul><li>Both transporting reels of endless rod to customers and repairing when needed while providing our clients with best-in-class service.</li><li>Overseeing all activities during the well services, performing and managing all required preventive maintenance, and doing regulatory inspections. To guarantee success, you will have strong technical, communication, and safety leadership skills</li></ul>Technical Requirements<ul><li>Operate the RTR service truck units and oversee all tasks performed during the well services</li><li>Performing all types of continuous and/or endless rod services and oversee all tasks performed during the well services</li><li>Properly handle continuous rod to eliminate risk exposure and ensure product integrity for downhole performance</li><li>Effectively manage and control operating expenses for the RTR/ERW service units, doghouse and crew truck</li><li>Perform all required preventative maintenance checks, inspections, and tasks</li><li>Supervise and mentor RTR/ERW Assistants</li><li>Perform work shift scheduling, training, and competency development for RTR/ERW Assistants</li><li>Comply with all industry, regulatory, and company standards, regulations and policies</li></ul>Employee Requirements<ul><li>Demonstrate a high level of safety leadership on and off the wellsite through daily safety meetings, JSA review, hazard assessments, and safety drills</li><li>Maintain and promote positive relationships with our clients</li><li>Maintain a highly clean working environment on the client’s wellsite and in the service unit</li><li>Ensure all required paperwork is completed thoroughly, accurately, and timely as required</li><li>Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to mitigate or eliminate workplace hazards</li></ul>Your Qualifications and Experience:<ul><li>Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent</li><li>Valid class 3 or 1 with air brake endorsement driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract</li><li>Either possession valid industry training certificates or ability to take the training that includes but not limited to H2S Alive and Standard First Aid/CPR</li><li>Minimum 1 years’ experience working in the oil and gas well servicing industry and</li><li>Well-servicing industry experience specializing in continuous rod handling is considered an asset</li></ul>Your Skills:<ul><li>Can successfully navigate through a complex, fast-paced work environment using an approach that encompasses integrity and pride in your work</li><li>Able to accept change while managing multiple and shifting priorities in a demanding, high-performance environment</li><li>Expresses and transmits information with consistency and clarity</li><li>Proven organizational and time-management skills</li><li>Shows commitment and dedication to complete tasks on time and with minimal supervision</li><li>Ability to work well individually, as part of a team, and under pressure, while balancing multiple demands</li></ul>Your Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Regular exposure to elevated noise levels working in field and yard environments</li><li>Required to stand for extended periods of time</li><li>Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing 25 pounds or more</li><li>May be required to do repetitive tasks with few breaks</li><li>Stamina and strength to work long hours, sometimes in adverse weather conditions</li></ul>What we Offer:We take pride in offering an industry leading and comprehensive total rewards package that includes the following:<ul><li>100% Employer sponsored Health and Wellness plan.</li><li>100% Employer sponsored dental plan</li><li>Short-Term and Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance.</li><li>Three-weeks’ vacation</li><li>Five paid sick days per year</li><li>External training allowance for continuing education</li><li>Support and financial assistance to obtain or recertify professional designations</li><li>Employee discounts through our preferred vendor programs.&nbsp;</li><li>Employer sponsored pension program with match.</li></ul>
