Successful individuals should have experience transporting dangerous goods per federal guidelines and regulations.</p><p><strong>This role is based out of Drumheller &amp; Hanna Alberta area</strong></p><h2><strong>The Team</strong></h2><p>The Specialty Chemicals team at SECURE is a dynamic and safety-focused group that takes pride in delivering high-quality service while ensuring strict adherence to federal transportation and hazardous materials regulations. Team members work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction while contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.</p><h2><strong>Work Environment</strong></h2><p>The work environment at SECURE’s Specialty Chemicals team is fast-paced, safety-oriented, and team-driven, where reliability and attention to detail are key to success. Employees can expect a supportive atmosphere that values professionalism, continuous learning, and a strong commitment to safety while working independently and as part of a collaborative team</p><h2><strong>A Day in The Life</strong></h2><ul><li>Maintain an accurate and detailed electronic logbook in accordance with federal driving requirements.</li><li>Properly secure and inspect equipment and trucks to ensure safe travel and load securement.</li><li>Keep equipment clean and complete routine maintenance.</li><li>Operate equipment safely and effectively to prevent the risk of injury and/or property damage.</li><li>Work in adherence to safe work practices, procedures and work site or traffic laws.</li><li>Complete all other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h2><strong>Skills, Experience &amp; Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Experienced Deck Truck driver with a Valid Class 3 or 5 Drivers license and clean abstract</li><li>Valid Safety Tickets (H2S, First Aid).</li><li>Strong familiarity with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations.</li><li>Proficient with electronic logbooks, permits, and federal driving requirements.</li><li>Reside within the Drumheller &amp; Hanna Alberta area along with a familiarity with local roads and work sites.</li><li>Commitment to working safely and following safety protocol.</li><li>Must be reliable, mature, punctual, motivated.</li><li>Strong detail orientation with computer skills.</li><li>Solid communication and customer service skills.</li></ul><h2><strong>What's in it for you</strong></h2><p>At SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
