We also formulate custom fluids for, available for purchase or rental 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year.</p><p>Tiger is seeking 2nd and 3rd Year Apprentice Mechanics to maintain Tiger’s vehicle fleet.</p><h2><strong>What’s in it for you:</strong></h2><ul><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Signing bonus</li><li>Annual performance bonus</li><li>Flexible Group Benefits coverage from the date of hire&nbsp;</li><li>Paid training</li><li>PPE supplied&nbsp;</li></ul><h2><strong>What you will do in this role:</strong></h2><ul><li>Perform maintenance and repair of heavy trucks and trailers;</li><li>Perform preventative and predictive maintenance;</li><li>Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer's specifications;</li><li>Maintain a clean and tidy personal work area and assist with general cleaning duties in a workshop environment;</li><li>Maintain a record of all work tasks on work orders in the TMT system;</li><li>Support and encourage continuous improvement in work practices;</li><li>Some out of hours work may be required for a call out basis;</li><li>Perform related work as required;</li><li>Completing daily job hazard assessments.&nbsp;</li></ul><h2><strong>What we are looking for:</strong></h2><ul><li>2nd, or 3rd year Apprentice Mechanic registered with Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT).</li><li>Experience with Cummins engines, hydraulic system, and Super B would be considered an asset.</li><li>Experience and considerable knowledge of the methods, materials and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of various types of heavy equipment and other power driven equipment and tools.</li><li>Working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.</li><li>Familiar with the TMT software program would be considered an asset.</li><li>Skilled in the operation of a variety of tools and equipment used in the repair of trucks and heavy equipment</li><li>Capable of preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports.</li><li>Ability to analyze and repair mechanical failures.&nbsp;</li><li>Has a collaborative communication style at all levels of the organization demonstrating an open, honest and consistent approach to working with others.</li><li>Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements including drug and alcohol and health assessment.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong></p><p>Navigate to Tiger’s website: &nbsp;<a href="http://www.tigercalcium.com/About/Careers" target="_blank">www.tigercalcium.com\About\Careers</a>&nbsp;to complete the online application process.</p>
