Build and maintain QAQC-related CAPEX and R&amp;M budgets.</li><li>Oversee and perform regular inspections and testing of safety equipment to ensure it meets safety standards and functionality requirements.</li><li>Identify any defects or discrepancies in safety equipment and work to resolve them promptly.</li><li>Ensure all quality control documentation is kept up to date and available for review during internal and external audits.</li><li>Analyze trends and patterns in quality control data to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.</li><li>Stay updated on safety equipment regulations and industry best practices, ensuring the company remains compliant.</li><li>Manage, train, mentor, and provide leadership to a team of QA/QC technicians and the QAQC Coordinator.</li><li>Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and identifying training or development opportunities.</li><li>Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet workload demands, including overseeing recruitment and training of new team members.&nbsp;</li></ul>Position RequirementsRequirements:<ul><li>Must have minimum 7 years of industrial experience.</li><li>Certifications related to quality control or safety management (e.g. CRSP, Quality Auditor or NSCO).</li><li>Must be willing to travel for meetings, audits, site/branch visit.</li><li>Strong knowledge of industry-specific safety equipment compliance requirements (e.g., oil and gas, manufacturing, construction).</li><li>Strong knowledge of the Canada Transportation Act and provincial or federal regulations across Canada.</li><li>Proven experience in QA/QC management, with a focus on safety equipment or related industries.</li><li>Experience working with suppliers and vendors in the procurement and quality control of safety equipment.</li><li>Proven ability to prioritize effectively under time constraints and with strong problem-solving ability.</li><li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.</li><li>Experience leading a team of people with different strengths and vast backgrounds.</li><li>Strong organizational skills.
