Completions Shop Technician &nbsp;JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for managing and ensuring appropriate too and consumable inventory levels to meet client contractual agreements, maintaining a well-organized shop, participating and contributing to a safe environment, and supporting the management and field operations personnel with job preparation.&nbsp; The shop technician must possess equipment maintenance and rebuilding skills, operations and control aptitude and the ability to work alone with minimal supervision. &nbsp;Roles and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Understand and adhere to all Tier 1 Energy Solutions (Tier 1) policies and procedures, furthermore understand and adhere to any client’s policies and procedures;</li><li>Utilizing knowledge of inventory cycles to manage and control inventory levels;</li><li>Communicate and coordinate incoming and outgoing orders with relevant partners;</li><li>Completing work orders for tools redressed;</li><li>Redressing tools;</li><li>Ensuring the availability of all necessary materials and tools required to support he field work;</li><li>Release scheduling of inbound materials and components;</li><li>Ensuring adequate stock levels for production requirements;</li><li>Other duties as assigned by the reporting Manager.</li></ul>Knowledge and Skills:<ul><li>Minimum of (1) one years’ experience in a shop environment;</li><li>Strong communication skills;</li><li>Strong attention to detail;</li><li>Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, calculate reliability and validity and correlations;</li><li>Basic Electronic knowledge;</li><li>Ability to mentor and willingness to learn and grow within Tier 1;</li><li>Ability to think quickly and apply problem solving skills to situations as they come up in the field;</li><li>Ability to work in a positive team environment;</li><li>Ability to work with hand and power tools;</li><li>Required to keep all applicable certifications up to date as required by Tier 1’s Quality and HSE;</li><li>Ability to operate independently;</li><li>Ability to champion a company safety culture.</li></ul>Physical Demands and Working Conditions:<ul><li>Frequent climbing (stairs, ladders, terrain);</li><li>Frequent lifting, pushing and pulling (70 pounds);</li><li>Frequent bending, twisting and standing;</li><li>Ability to work more than 40 hours in any given week;</li><li>Exposure to high noise over 85 dba.</li></ul>Educations, Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:<ul><li>High School Diploma, General Education Diploma, or Equivalent Experience;</li><li>H2S (an asset);</li><li>Class 5 Drivers License (a must);</li><li>PST;</li><li>First Aid/CPR (an asset).</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Results from a pre-employment test must be deemed acceptable in accordance to Tier 1’s policies;</li><li>5 years commercial/drivers abstract must be in compliant with Tier 1’s guidelines;</li><li>Results from a back ground check must be deemed acceptable in accordance to Tier 1’s guidelines;</li><li>Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.</li></ul>

Fleet & Rentals Shop Hand

ROLE STATEMENT:The Shop Technician will be a member of the Maintenance Department responsible for greasing components, taking oil samples, and changing fluids and filters as per the Maintenance schedule, assisting the Pump Coordinator(s) with fluid end repair and maintenance as well as maintaining a safe and clean working environment in the maintenance shop. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Shop Technician will focus on working with Mechanics and Electronics Technicians to facilitate equipment preventative maintenance, general labour duties in the pump shop and the basic upkeep of the maintenance shop, assisting the Parts department and other maintenance staff while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.OUR CULTURE:Calfrac, we believe in being an integral part of the communities where we operate and we support a variety of giving activities throughout the year.
