The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating excavators and attachments that include grapples, magnets, shears, thumb and bucket.</p><p>To be considered for this position, please submit your application by August 22, 2025</p><h2><strong>The Team</strong></h2><p>This position must also adhere to our safety program and work as a contributing member of the site team and is based out of Edmonton Alberta</p><h2><strong>Work Environment</strong></h2><p>This is a full time permanent role and a based in the yard, working a 7am to 4pm shift.</p><h2><strong>A Day in The Life</strong></h2><ul><li>Operate equipment while adhering to all safe work practices and procedures</li><li>Follow Secures’ operating standards and procedures</li><li>Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks</li><li>Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Complete walk-arounds, safety checks and ensure equipment is running properly</li><li>Secure special attachments to equipment</li><li>Operate two-way radios and other communication when required</li><li>Minor repairs to equipment. Report any necessary reports to the supervisor</li><li>Commitment to working safely and following safety protocol</li></ul><h2><strong>Skills, Experience &amp; Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>2 years experience operating equipment in industries such as civil earth works, pipelines, or Oil &amp; Gas</li><li>A minimum of 5,000 hours in Heavy Equipment operations</li><li>Drug, Alcohol &amp; Fitness Testing</li><li>Valid Safety Tickets (H2S, First Aid, CSTS, Ground Disturbance) is an asset</li><li>Grade 12 or GED</li><li>Must have steel toe work boots; other personal safety gear is provided</li><li>Ability to Work variable shifts &amp; hours</li><li>Must be physically fit, heavy labour is required</li></ul><h2><strong>What's in it for you</strong></h2><p>At SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
