<h3>Description</h3>Key position functions:• Process bi-weekly full cycle payroll activities. • Ensure Canadian payroll practices are effective and efficient, delivering accurate and timely payroll processing. • Prepare remittances related to payroll and benefits, assist with year-end reporting (e.g., T4’s, T4A’s ). • Maintain expert knowledge of payroll system and prevailing payroll/legislative practices. •&nbsp;Meet payroll processing deadlines by ensuring that internal processes are effective and efficient. • Identify errors and provide solutions/recommendations as required. • Liaise with third party payroll vendor(s) regarding payroll and reporting delivery, and assist with review of performance and services as required • Reconcile payroll accounts, and assist with month end activities. • Ensure third party transactions are accurate and legislatively compliant. • Ensure time and attendance practices are reliable and effective. • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and related matters in a timely and professional manner. • Maintain confidential employee records in accordance with organizational policies and privacy standards. • Generate custom and system-based reports for internal and external stakeholders as required. • Collaborate with HR colleagues and employees to address payroll, benefits, and RSP inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. • Ensure accurate enrollment, maintenance, and termination of eligible employees in benefit systems, including processing changes as required. • Support disability and leave management processes, ensuring documentation is complete and aligned with current practices. • Administer group retirement savings plans, responding promptly to inquiries from employees. • Continually reviews payroll systems for efficiency and accuracy, and recommends system improvements.Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following qualifications:• Minimum 5 years direct experience in payroll administration with large organizations. • Related education including National Payroll Institute designation. • Knowledge of employment standards, Canadian Payroll legislation and tax regulations. • Knowledge of US Payroll legislation and tax regulations are an asset. • Demonstrated experience in full cycle payroll and benefit administration. • Proven experience with HRIS/Payroll platforms, ideally using UKG. • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. • Perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Good judgment and decision making skills • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and diplomacy. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Very detail-oriented with extremely high attention to detail.The Stream-Flo Group of Companies, consisting of Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. and Master Flo Valve Inc., are privately owned and operated Canadian manufacturers of wellhead, production gate valve and check valve equipment, as well as chokes, specialty control valves and supporting actuation. RFQ review would include:<ul><li>Ability to assess the need and to quote the product requirements</li><li>Ability to conform to financial requirements. This could include identifying countries that are currently being boycotted by US or Canadian Governments or that Canadian banks will not deal with in terms of currency.</li><li>Ability to perform Contract Review.</li><li>Ability to manage product delivery requirements and Production Schedules.</li><li>Ability to manage QA and Documentation requirements.</li><li>Ability to deal with specific agent and/or rep involvement</li><li>Ability to meet bid timeline.</li><li>Where applicable, compilation and distribution of Financial Approval Form.</li></ul></li><li>Interact with manufacturing and procurement groups to determine accurate product costing and delivery.</li><li>Prepare Surface Safety Valve quotations and supply technical documents based on customer input and data requirement lists.</li><li>Interact regularly with customers during bid and order process including bid and order acknowledgement and document submission where applicable.</li><li>Initiate contact and coordinate shipments with Stream-Flo Customs/Logistics coordinator or company freight forwarder in terms of preparing quotations and documents for shipping and insurance.</li><li>Handle customer calls relating to complaints on orders, investigate basis of complaint, refer problems to appropriate personnel, recommend action to rectify problems, and follow up to ensure resolution.</li><li>Work with multiple departments in the coordination of product repairs for customers.</li><li>Where required, create quotations in SAP and/or Word and sales orders in SAP once contract awarded.</li><li>Coordinate with local finance group all customer credit applications, including Letters of Credit, Performance Bank Guarantees and payment terms for staged deliveries and currencies.</li><li>Confirm that manufacturing controls and scheduling are in place to meet customer inspection and final delivery requirements.</li><li>Initiate contact with internal groups specific to Surface Safety System orders, examples: Engineering for BOM’s, Quality for inspection plans, Purchasing for coordination of buy-outs, Manufacturing for product delivery schedule, and Logistics for exporting.</li><li>Coordinate outsourced services such as coating and testing along with any 3rd party inspection requirements.</li><li>Coordinate Vendor Data Requirements List and final Manufacture’s Record Book.</li><li>Navigate customer’s online portals to ensure project related documentation is properly submitted.</li><li>Ability to manage Engineering drawings/design packages. &nbsp;</li><li>Other duties or responsibilities as determined assigned or assumed by the Surface Safety Systems – Inside Sales Manager.</li></ul>Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 3 years’ industry related experience.
